Voltaire's tasting: delicious!

Voltaire fixes Christmas in the kitchen with delicious chocolate truffles, crunchy caramel and the most spicy chocolate drink. In addition, a nice walking gift and chocolate cream in one go!

Chocolate truffles with hemp

Trill fine hemp truffles and make Santa happy.

Mix together 2 dl cashews, 1/2 dl blackberries or blueberry, 1/2 banana, 5 driedfig (soaked for a while) 1 tbsp raw cocoa to a batter.

Shape balls and roll them in hemp seeds.

Serve the truffles cold.

Nut cake

Nutty and fruity!

Mix together 500 grams dried fruit and nuts (for example apricots, figs, inca berries, raisins, walnuts and almonds), 1/2 dl raw sugar, 3 egg, 1 tsp baking powder, 1.5 dl flour and 1 tbsp water (can be exchanged for Gypsy or good liqueur).

Mix together to a batter. Bake at 175 degrees for about 15 - 20 minutes.

Test with a stick: Dry = ready!

Lovely chocolate drink

Spicy chocolate drink.

Let optional milk (oat, rice, soy or cow) simmer gently with various spices such as star anise, clove, cinnamon stick and the whole cardamom seeds.

Strain off the spices and stir in the melted chocolate.

Drink and enjoy!

Chocolate cake with cashew cream

Chocolate, nuts and fruit become a cake that does not need to be baked.

Melt 1 dl raw cocoa gently in a water bath. Core 5 dates, preferably medjoul (extra large dates) and put in a mixer together with ½ dl cashews, 6 incabär, 2 tablespoons agave syrup and 1 dl bovetecrunch (Voltaire's own mixture) or take 1 dl extra cashews or any other good nut.

Mix into a batter and press the batter into a mold. Serve with cardamom andcashew cream (see below) and a piece Mango, so crazy good!

Cashew cream with cardamom

Mixa ½ dl cashews together with freshly ground cardamom, a splash agave syrup and ¾ dl water (or so much that the knives spin).

Mix to a smooth cream.

Serve cold.

Crispy IS good

Yummy crackers with chopped hazelnuts.

How to use knäckbräck. Melt 2 dl sugar carefully in a thick-bottomed saucepan and add 500 grams butter and 500 grams honey. Let it boil together. Do the crack trick to check when it is ready (pick up some crack batter and shape a ball - if it solidifies, it is ready).

Pour the batter onto a baking sheet. Pour over 2 dl coarsely chopped hazelnuts. Allow to solidify and then cut into squares.

Chocolate delicious in one go!

Mix ½ dl agave syrup (available in health food stores) with 2 tablespoons raw cocoa powder. Clear!

Mulled wine in a bag as a gift

Cardamom capsules.

Mix 2 star anise, 4 goji berries, 2 cinnamon sticks, 3 cloves, 2 cardamom capsules and a small fist raisin - a perfect mixture to season the mulled wine with.

Put in a nice bag and you have a good gift!
